Best Personnel Inc. is currently accepting applications for experienced Construction Safety Officers (CSOs) to join our workforce for upcoming client assignments short term or long-term.
We are an employment agency that provides workers to a variety of construction work sites across the Lower Mainland. Assignments may vary by location, duration, schedule, client needs, and worker availability. Some opportunities may offer full-time hours depending on the assignment.
What this role involves
- Conducting regular safety inspections and identifying hazards on active job sites
- Enforcing site safety procedures and supporting compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations
- Providing toolbox talks, site safety guidance, and emergency response support
- Responding to incidents and administering first aid when required
- Investigating accidents and near-misses and reporting findings
- Maintaining accurate safety records, inspection logs, and incident reports
- Communicating clearly with supervisors, workers, and site personnel
- Assisting with general site duties as needed
Requirements
- Valid Construction Safety Officer certification
- Valid Occupational First Aid Level 2 or Level 3 certification
- Minimum 1 year of construction site experience in the Lower Mainland
- Strong knowledge of WorkSafeBC regulations and site safety procedures
- Fluent in English with strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and professional

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

- Lower Mainland, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
