The ideal candidate will possess a passion for innovative and high-quality cafe faire, preparing and presentation of sandwich,salad and soup dishes.(no deep fryers here)
This role involves ensuring adherence to food safety standards. The Cafe Chef Assitant will play a vital role in maintaining the restaurant’s reputation for excellence while fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment, as a member of a team,

Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient food preparation and service
- Ensure adherence to our creative menu recipes
- Participate in all aspects of food handling, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence
- Be able to Collaborate
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times
- Embrace professionalism, teamwork, and hospitality within the cafe team
Experience
- Experience in a restaurant or hospitality or Yearning to Learn
- Background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations
- Knowledge of restaurant practices, food safety standards,NSFS course required
- Embrace customer service and hospitality principles
- Prior restaurant experience is preferred, and/ or hands-on kitchen experience
- Communication skills with a focus on teamwork in fast-paced environment

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
