Job Summary
The Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) at Sunshine Wellness is responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based manual therapy treatments. The ideal candidate will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop safe and effective treatment plans, and maintain a high standard of patient care. This role requires collaboration within a multidisciplinary environment to support the long-term health and wellness goals of our community.
Split : 70/30
Clinic will prove all supplies needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment & Treatment: Conduct thorough orthopedic assessments, health history reviews, and physical evaluations to determine safe, appropriate treatment indications.
- Clinical Execution: Perform safe, ethical, and competent massage therapy techniques tailored to acute, chronic, rehabilitation, or relaxation needs.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, timely, and secure electronic health records (EHR) and progress notes in strict compliance with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) regulations.
- Patient Education: Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment findings, home care recommendations (e.g., remedial exercise, hydrotherapy), and proposed treatment frequencies.
- Interprofessional Collaboration: Work cooperatively with other clinic practitioners to facilitate internal referrals and optimize holistic patient outcomes.
- Clinic Maintenance: Maintain a sanitized, safe, and professional treatment room environment, adhering to strict infection control and clinic protocols.
Qualifications & Core Competencies
- Credential: Active registration and in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience is preferred. Passionate new graduates with exceptional assessment skills and strong clinical placement references are welcome to apply.
- Education Note: Graduates of the Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy are highly encouraged to explicitly highlight this on their resume.
- Insurance: RMT should hold valid PLI.

Pay: $53.00-$113.00 per hour
