Chu Cho Industries LP (CCI) is currently recruiting for an experienced Camp Cook to work at a remote mining camp. The successful candidate will possess the knowledge, experience and skill set required to complete assigned tasks in a safe, productive and professional manner.
Necessary qualifications and requirements for employment:
- Resume. Including relevant experience and personal / professional references.
- Copy of Valid Class 5 BC Drivers License.
- Food Safe Level I or II
- Red Seal Certified or equivalent
- Strong communication skills
- OFA Level I with Transportation Endorsement Ticket is considered an asset
- Wage incentive for Level 3 First Aid Ticket.
What to expect:
- Camp cooking on a two week on, two week off schedule
- Train staff in preparation and handling of food
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Order supplies and equipment
- Manage kitchen operations
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Plan menus, determine portions size, estimate food requirements and costs
- Must be reliable and responsible
