Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various destinations while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong focus on driving, heavy lifting, and maintaining timely deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods over designated routes
- Ensure timely pickup and delivery of shipments, adhering to schedules
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify any issues
- Load and unload cargo, often requiring heavy lifting and manual handling
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and documentation as required
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status or issues
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and report any vehicle malfunctions or damages
Experience
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
- Prior experience with Open Deck Hauling prefered.
- Demonstrated ability to operate various types of trucks safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of traffic laws, safety standards, and transportation regulations
- Strong driving record with a focus on safety and reliability
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: $6,000.00-$8,000.00 per month
