Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Parts & Service Advisor to join our fleet operation. This is an inhouse position that delas mainly with our own equipment, parts, and services; rarely with outside customers.
This role is essential in providing exceptional in house fleet service, managing parts and service, and supporting the overall operation of our repair shop. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of automotive repair processes, excellent communication skills , and proficiency with software. Previous experience and mechanical knowledge are highly valued for this position.
Duties
- Work with shop manager to schedule repairs and part ordering
- Provide accurate information on vehicle repairs, maintenance, and parts availability
- Handle repair reporting and maintain proper documentation
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and services
- Maintain organized records of purchases, sales, and service history
- Assist in inventory management by tracking parts availability and ordering as needed
- Follow up with drivers post-service to ensure satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous experience is preferred but not mandatory; automotive industry knowledge is highly recommended
- Mechanical knowledge or experience working with automotive repairs is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills and a professional demeanor
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
