We are seeking an experienced Journeyman HVAC Service Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for a highly skilled technician who excels at troubleshooting, diagnostics, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of HVAC systems
- Service and maintain furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, rooftop units, boilers, and ventilation equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and service manuals
- Identify equipment deficiencies and recommend corrective actions
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately and efficiently
- Communicate professionally with customers, suppliers, and team members
- Ensure all work complies with applicable safety standards, codes, and regulations
- Participate in an on-call rotation as required
QualificationsRequired
- Journeyman HVAC Certification preferred
- Minimum 5 years of HVAC service experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Experience servicing residential and commercial HVAC systems
- Valid BC Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
Candidate Location Requirement
Only candidates who currently reside in the Southern Okanagan region will be considered. This position is not intended for relocation applicants.
Preference will be given to candidates living in Penticton, Summerland, Oliver, Osoyoos, Keremeos, Naramata, or surrounding South Okanagan communities.
