Position Summary
We are currently hiring reliable and hardworking General Labourers to join a busy recycling and material recovery facility. This hands-on role involves sorting recyclable materials, picking and separating items, dismantling products, and supporting daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort and separate recyclable materials by type.
- Pick materials from conveyor belts or designated work areas.
- Dismantle products using hand and power tools.
- Sort materials correctly and remove any unwanted items
- Load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, or general labour is an asset.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- CSA-approved safety shoes are required
