About Us: Kokanee Park Marina is located just outside Nelson B.C., next to Kokanee Creek Provincial Park. We are dedicated to providing excellent service to our customers and ensuring they have a fantastic experience on and off the water.
Position Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and hard working individuals to join our team for the upcoming summer months. They will be helping out in the store daily with tasks ranging from working as a cashier, restocking shelves, and cleaning to helping with various tasks around the marina!
Key Responsibilities:
- Working in the marina store, including handling sales, stocking shelves, and maintaining inventory, etc.
- Maintaining accurate records and handling financial transactions.
- Assisting customers with any rentals and providing safety instructions.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
- Must be able to sell liquor and tobacco products (Must have your ServingIt Right)!
- Retail Experience is a plus
- Lotto Experience is a plus
- Being licenced to pump propane is a plus
- Having your FoodSafe is a plus
While we are currently looking for seasonal help for the upcoming summer months, there is the potential that this could turn into a more permanent position.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
