We are looking for an assistant baker with strong attention to detail and a capacity to follow recipes and instructions with care and consistency. The successful candidate will be responsible for morning baking, prep work, and cleaning their work station. This position requires a positive work attitude and an interest in contributing to our house-made baking program. We are particularly interested in someone who sees the value in contributing to a family-owned and community-principled business.
We are interested in filling this as a long-term and part-time position (minimum one-year work commitment). 6-15 hours/week.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Previous commercial baking experience is preferred.
- Hospitality experience is an asset.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food Handler Certificate is required before starting your employment with us.
