RESPONSIBILITIES
Assisting an oral surgeon in providing IV sedation / general anesthesia for oral surgery procedures in a safe and effective manner
Administering narcotics and other anesthetic drugs as directed by the oral surgeon
Monitoring and recovering patients
Post-operative instructions
Provide chair-side assistance
Complete anesthetic records
Efficiency in venipuncture
EDUCATION
Completion of the Canadian Registered Nurse Examination (CRNE)
Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
BLS level C and ACLS are required
PALS is recommended but not necessary
EXPERIENCE
Experience in acute care is recommended but not necessary
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
