Coordinator
Position Overview
The Coordinator is responsible for the overall management and
coordination of the Labrador Creative Arts Festival (LCAF), with primary responsibility for delivering the annual Festival and strengthening the organization’s operational and financial sustainability. The Coordinator works closely with the Board of Directors and community partners to advance LCAF’s mission.

Contract: 37 weeks (August 10, 2026– April 31, 2027) 35 hrs per week
(flexible hours)
Pay Rate: $25/hour plus 4% vacation pay
Reports to: LCAF Board of Directors
Conditions of Employment

Must work irregular hours as required (i.e. during the festival week or to attend
committee meetings)
Possess a valid class 5 driver’s license
Have access to own vehicle
Must be in Happy Valley-Goose Bay (Remote work discussable during
off-season)
Contract Renewal / Extension
There is potential for contract renewal based on funding availability and employee performance. Potential contract renewals/extensions would have to be reviewed and approved by the LCAF board.
Key Responsibilities
1. Organizational Leadership & Governance Support

Support the Board of Directors in delivering LCAF’s mission●

Provide regular reports and recommendations to the Board
Attend Board meetings during work term
Assist the Board in strategic and operational planning
2. Festival Planning & Delivery
●
Coordinate and oversee the annual Festival
●
Organize Festival logistics, including:

Scheduling
○
Venue coordination
○
Travel and accommodations
○
Hospitality and catering
3. Stakeholder & Community Engagement

Liaise with schools, visiting artists, teacher-directors, sponsors, and
community stakeholders
Represent LCAF within regional arts and educational communities
Attend events and maintain strong community relationships
Promote the Festival and organizational initiatives
4. Administration & Operations

Maintain operational systems and documentation
Ensure timely completion of funding and reporting requirements
Perform related duties as required to ensure organizational success
