Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a friendly and positive first impression.
- Assist with seating arrangements and manage reservations to optimize guest flow.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all customer requests are met.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments while maintaining accuracy in cash handling.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery to guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the front of house area, including dining spaces and restrooms.
- Provide assistance to customers as needed, addressing inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Support team members in various tasks to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Serve it Right certification is required.
