Responsibilities
- Safely operate your commercial truck to transport freight across designated routes, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies
- Manage freight loading and unloading, utilizing equipment such as forklifts when necessary to handle cargo efficiently
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with road regulations
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and logs
- Perform light automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep your vehicle in optimal condition
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate schedules and resolve any issues promptly
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with owner-operator responsibilities
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols
- Basic automotive repair skills to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues on the road
- Strong organizational skills for managing delivery schedules and documentation
- Physical ability to lift heavy cargo and perform manual tasks related to freight handling

Pay: $300,000.00-$350,000.00 per year
