This is a highly hands-on role. I am not looking for someone who only wants to provide strategy or occasional coaching. You must be willing to personally manage clients’ job searches from onboarding through offer.
I run a fully booked boutique career-services business supporting Director, VP and C-suite clients, primarily across technology, go-to-market and corporate leadership functions. I am looking for an experienced professional who can become a long-term delivery partner and take ownership of multiple client engagements.
Responsibilities
- Lead client onboarding and search strategy
- Write and tailor executive-level resumes and LinkedIn profiles
- Identify and evaluate suitable opportunities
- Oversee applications, recruiter outreach and hiring-manager outreach
- Communicate directly with clients throughout their searches
- Track activity, follow-ups and interview pipelines
- Provide interview preparation and offer-negotiation support
- Ensure every aspect of the search is executed accurately and professionally
Administrative support is available, but you will remain accountable for the strategy, client relationship and quality of execution.

- One-on-one career-coaching experience
- Experience supporting Director, VP or executive-level clients
- Strong knowledge of modern job-search, networking and outreach practices
- Excellent client-facing communication and professional judgment
- Comfortable performing both strategic and repetitive execution work
- Capacity and interest to manage several clients concurrently
- Based in Canada or the United States
Engagement structure
This is ongoing, project-based work—not a full-time salaried position. I generate and close the clients, provide the systems and administrative infrastructure, and assign engagements based on your capacity.
Compensation will be structured as a substantial percentage of collected client revenue. The opportunity could become quite lucrative for someone capable of independently managing multiple searches, without needing to generate their own leads.
We would begin with one client and expand the partnership based on performance, reliability and mutual fit.
