Position Summary
PBS is seeking an experienced Senior Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of commercial and multi-family construction projects throughout Western Canada. This individual will play a key role in coordinating all aspects of project administration, communication, procurement, and documentation while supporting Project Managers and Site Superintendents.
The ideal candidate has construction experience, understands project management processes, is highly organized, and can confidently manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision. This position offers excellent opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination
· Coordinate all project documentation from pre-construction through project closeout.
· Maintain project schedules, action lists, and deliverable trackers.
· Coordinate project startup activities.
· Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or delays.
· Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and current.
Tendering & Procurement
· Prepare and issue tender packages.
· Coordinate tender invitations and subcontractor communications.
· Review quotations and prepare bid comparison summaries.
· Assist in subcontract negotiations.
· Prepare purchase orders and subcontract agreements.
· Track long-lead procurement items.
Contract Administration
· Manage Requests for Information (RFIs).
· Coordinate Shop Drawings and Submittals.
· Track Change Orders and Change Directives.
· Maintain contract documentation.
· Monitor contract compliance.
Financial Administration
· Assist with project budgeting.
· Review subcontractor invoices.
· Track committed costs.
· Assist with progress billings.
Documentation & Quality Control
· Maintain Fieldwire, SharePoint, and project filing systems.
· Ensure document control procedures are followed.
· Coordinate closeout documentation, including warranties, O&M manuals, as-built drawings, and deficiency tracking.
Qualifications:
Required
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
· Strong understanding of construction contracts, sequencing, project management processes, building codes, and tendering procedures.
· Experience with RFIs, submittals, PCNs, change orders, purchase orders, scheduling, and cost tracking.

· Microsoft Office Suite

· Fieldwire, or similar project management software

Job Type: Full-time in Red Deer Office
Work Location: mainly in-person in office with mininal travel for site visits
Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
