Position Summary
The Lead Cook oversees kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, efficiency, and cleanliness while managing inventory and waste control.
Duties and Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
Kitchen Operations
Manage food and beverage inventory and seek ways to improve processes.
Food Preparation & Cooking
Prep, set up workstations, and cook breakfast and lunch dishes using various utensils and equipment.
Quality & Safety
Maintain cleaning schedules, ensure proper food storage, and track food waste.
Sanitation & Organization
Ensure the kitchen meets cleanliness standards and operates smoothly.
Minimum Requirements
· Knowledge of the food and beverage industry.
· Strong understanding of culinary procedures and standards.
· Ability to work independently and as a team.
· Ability to work under pressure.
· Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to overcome immediate issues.
· Knowledge needed for organizing and planning staff, inventory and costs.
Working Conditions
- 7am-3pm operation hours.
- Weekends, as needed.
- Ability to stand for long period of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
