Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Kitchen Hand to join our team. This role involves preparing and serving food, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and providing excellent guest service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong communication skills, and experience in food service environments. Duties
- Assist in food preparation and cooking according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food handling and safety procedures are strictly followed to maintain hygiene standards
- Serve food to guests efficiently and courteously, providing excellent customer service
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and sanitizing equipment
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Support meal preparation for various service periods, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts
- Handle cash transactions accurately when required and assist with guest inquiries or requests
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- Ability to perform basic cooking tasks and assist with meal preparation
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures and maintaining a hygienic kitchen environment
- Hospitality or hotel experience, including guest services or barista skills, is a plus
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
