JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The candidate will be expected to take on two roles:
1) Dog Daycare Attendant, and
2) Front Desk Administrator
As a Dog Daycare Attendant, you will supervise and interact with dogs in a daycare setting. Ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs in your care. Feed, walk, and provide water to the dogs as needed. Engage in playtime and activities with the dogs. Maintain a clean and organized daycare facility. Monitor dog behaviour and report any concerns to management.
As a Front Desk Administrator, you will manage the day-to-day processes of our facility, handling customer service and sales inquiries. The candidate needs to be comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments and to integrate them safely into our facility.
Qualifications: Experience working with dogs is required. Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary. Strong customer service skills. Passion for working with animals. Calm, confident demeanour and persistence when working with difficult animals. Ability to work well in a team environment. High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities – Pet Wellness and Services Administrator
- Manage scheduling and the customer intake process
- Electronically organize and keep current all customer information (scanning, data entry, etc.)
- Ensure company policies are adhered to
- Perform accounts payable and inventory activities
- Assist with company marketing campaigns and keep social media streams current and engaging
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, or social media
- Greeting and assisting customers
- Utilize our POS system to check customers in and out of the facility
- Safely integrate dogs of all sizes and temperaments into our facility and be able to manage dog play and energy of playgroups
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Be at least 19 years of age or older
- High school graduate
- Be able to legally work in Canada (SIN # or work permits must be provided)
- Be flexible with working hours
- Be able to operate a computer (email, web, scanner/printer, office tools)
- Have working knowledge or experience with dogs in an off-leash environment is a MUST
AN IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:
- Have a passion for health and wellness, and be open to natural therapies and holistic approaches

- Be calm and assertive around dogs and have an understanding of dog behaviour
- Have previous customer service experience
- Have good verbal and written communication skills
- Have good organizational skills and pay attention to details
- Be able to manage multiple ongoing tasks simultaneously
- Have a pleasant personality
- Have good hygiene and appropriate dress
- Have no medical or physical conditions that would prevent the successful completion of position duties
WORKING HOURS:
Candidates may be required to work 4 to 6 days per week (Mondays to Saturdays) with regular full-time hours between 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM (35 - 44 hours per week, depending on business need).
