Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Refinisher to join our automotive team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition by performing refinishing tasks with precision and attention to detail. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive repair processes, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior dealership experience and mechanical knowledge are highly valued, along with familiarity with hand tools and power tools. The Vehicle Refinisher plays a crucial part in ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality vehicle restoration.
Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces for refinishing by sanding, masking, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply primer, paint, and clear coat using spray guns and other application tools
- Repair surface imperfections such as dents, scratches, and rust before refinishing
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform repairs and refinishing tasks
- Follow safety protocols and environmental regulations during all procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Inspect finished work for quality assurance, making necessary touch-ups or corrections
Qualifications
- Prior dealership experience or automotive refinishing background preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle systems and repairs
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment used in automotive refinishing
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling parts or materials
- Experience with automotive repair processes is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting during shifts

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
