Heavy Haul Manager — Bowline Logistics

Bowline Logistics is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Heavy Haul Manager to lead the coordination of oversized and specialized freight moving across North America.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands that heavy haul is about more than moving equipment from Point A to Point B. It’s about planning the route, managing the details, solving problems before they happen, and keeping freight, drivers, customers, and equipment moving safely and efficiently.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and coordinate heavy haul and oversize transportation operations
- Plan and optimize routes across Canada and the U.S.
- Coordinate permits, pilots, routing, scheduling, and logistics requirements
- Work closely with drivers, customers, brokers, and internal operations teams
- Monitor loads from pickup through delivery and proactively resolve issues
- Build strong relationships with customers and transportation partners
- Lead with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and customer service
What We’re Looking For
- Heavy haul / oversize transportation experience
- Strong knowledge of North American trucking operations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple loads and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of permits, routing, equipment, and regulatory requirement
- Leadership experience is an asset
- Work in person from our Spruce Grove Alberta office
