Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components, ensuring high-quality standards in every project.
Duties
· Repair components on ready mix batch plants, heavy equipment, and on road commercial vehicles.
· Fabricate components to support repair work.
· Travel to and from various Rolling Mix Sites (Calgary, Balzac, and Carseland) to perform repair work.
· Coach and develop apprentice welder.
· Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
Requirements
· Minimum 5-years experience welding steel, aluminum, and stainless with various welding techniques including Stick, MIG, and TIG.
· Minimum Alberta Journeyman Welding ticket required.
· Willing and able to work flexible hours such as overtime and weekends as dictated by needs of the business.
· Ability to perform repetitive motions including bending, climbing and reaching overhead above the shoulders daily.
· Comfortable working outdoors during all seasons.
· Excellent organization, communication, and listening skills.
· Understand how individual efforts contribute to the success of the overall team.
· Punctual and reliable.
