We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Wax Tech to join our studio The Wax Loung. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while performing body waxing treatments in a clean and sanitized environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in skincare, retail sales, and client care within a professional setting dedicated to enhancing clients' confidence and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Perform body waxing services, lash lift, brow lamination and tint with professionalism, ensuring client comfort and safety
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene throughout all treatments and work areas
- Assist clients by providing information about waxing procedures, aftercare, and product recommendations
- Manage retail sales by promoting skincare products and waxing-related items to clients
- Ensure all equipment and supplies are properly sanitized and stocked for daily operations
- Deliver excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment and addressing client needs
- Support team members in maintaining a clean, organized workspace
Requirements
- Prior experience or training in body waxing is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and practices within a beauty or wellness setting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Retail sales experience is a plus, with the ability to promote products confidently
- Professional appearance and demeanor aligned with the standards of the industry
- Flexibility to work scheduled shifts that may include evenings or weekends as needed
