Job Summary
We are seeking an Inventory Cycle Counter for a temporary opportunity in Barrie, ON within a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented inventory professional who enjoys working with data accuracy, warehouse operations, cycle counting, and cross-functional communication.
As an Inventory Cycle Counter, you will help maintain accurate inventory records by performing regular stock counts, investigating discrepancies, and supporting reconciliation activities. You will work closely with material handlers, team leaders, supervisors, and material planners in a structured environment where accuracy, teamwork, and operational consistency are highly valued.
This is a strong opportunity for someone with RF scanner experience, forklift certification, and a commitment to keeping inventory processes organized, accurate, and reliable.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular inventory cycle counts, stock takes, and year-end physical inventory activities.
- Identify, investigate, and reconcile inventory discrepancies according to approved policies and procedures.
- Follow the approved cycle counting schedule to ensure variances are identified and resolved in a timely manner.
- Communicate with material handlers, team leaders, supervisors, and material planners regarding material location, status, and issue scheduling.
- Identify parts using drawings, descriptions, and part numbers to support accurate inventory verification.
- Maintain organized records of cycle count findings, discrepancies, and inventory issues for future reference.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $23.75 per hour.
- Salary range provided: $49,400.00 to $50,440.00 per year.
