Order Picking/Packing - General Warehouse Associate

General Task Description:
- Order Fulfillment: Reviewing order forms or electronic scanners to accurately identify and gather the correct products from warehouse inventory.
- Product Inspection: Checking items for damage, defects, or missing quantities before they are packaged.
- Packaging: Securely packing products into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring items are protected during transit.
- Labeling: Applying shipping labels and other required information to packages.
- Inventory Management: Using pen/paper or scanners to provide accurate inventory records.
- Equipment Operation: Safely using equipment such as push carts, step ladders, box cutters, etc.
- Safety: Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organized work environment to prevent injuries.
Skills and Qualities
- Physical Stamina: The ability to work on your feet (walking) and lift items, often up to 40-50 pounds.
- Attention to Detail: Crucial for ensuring order accuracy, preventing missing items, and identifying product defects.
- Efficiency: The ability to work quickly and effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Teamwork: Collaborating with supervisors and coworkers to meet shipping deadlines and ensure smooth operations.
- Adaptability: Adjusting to changing work environments and tasks within the warehouse.
- Problem-Solving: Identifying and addressing issues to improve processes and maintain efficient workflow.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.60-$18.50 per hour
