North Peace Housing Foundation (NPHF) is a management body dedicated to providing affordable housing for seniors and families with modest incomes across the region. We are currently seeking compassionate, reliable individuals to join our team at Harvest Lodge in Fairview.
Position Overview:
Reporting to the Housing Accommodations Manager, the Resident Services Attendant (RSA) plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents. This position is responsible for delivering housekeeping and laundry services, and occasionally assisting with meal service and other lodge operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide housekeeping services in resident rooms and common areas to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Operate commercial laundry equipment to complete resident and lodge laundry duties.
- Assist with meal service and help maintain the cleanliness of the dining area.
- Follow safety procedures and adhere to applicable standards, policies, and legislation.
- Maintain accurate shift documentation and communicate relevant information with the team.
- Work collaboratively with others and contribute to a respectful and inclusive workplace culture.
- Perform other duties as assigned, which may include occasional support in self-contained or family housing units.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping, seniors’ residences, or similar settings is an asset.
- Experience using industrial laundry equipment is considered an asset.
- Valid Basic First Aid and WHMIS certification, or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to lift moderately heavy items (up to 12 kg) and move heavier objects (up to 25 kg).
- Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English at a Grade 10 level.
- Completion of a current and acceptable criminal record check for the vulnerable sector as required by the Protection for Persons in Care Act and the Accommodation Standards and Licensing Act is mandatory.
Pay: $21.00 per hour
