Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring the property, preventing theft or vandalism, and maintaining a secure environment for staff and visitors. This role requires a professional demeanor, keen observation skills, and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents. Prior experience in law enforcement or surveillance is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to develop their security skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards
- Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, to oversee all areas of the property
- Enforce security protocols and access controls to prevent unauthorized entry
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, and coordinate with law enforcement if necessary
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations
- Assist with loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or vandalism
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and staff as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, surveillance, or loss prevention is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance equipment is advantageous
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude
- Must be able to pass background checks and any required training certifications
