Our client, a leading manufacturing organization is looking to hire a Licensed Millwright on a full-time permanent basis.
This role is a rotate shift (days-nights)and comes with Benefits, Paid Time Vacation, RRSP.
In this role will report to the Maintenance Leader and ensure that safety, quality of work, communications, teamwork, team development, and proper accountability are carried out effectively. Plans, schedules, and coordinates maintenance activities that include preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, special projects, and service work. This includes the plant property, utilities, offices, and all production line equipment.
Responsibilities:
· Using machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, and machining centers to produce precision metal parts from raw stock metals, metal alloys and other materials and maintain equipment in good condition.
· Read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings
· Perform Pneumatic and Hydraulic trouble shooting including cylinder and valve rebuilding
· Operate machines such as lathes, drill presses, punch presses, shapers and grinders to fabricate dies, tools, jigs and fixtures.
· Maintain and assemble machines using appropriate tools and procedures
· Be a champion for the Preventative Maintenance Program
· Basic troubleshooting
· Perform basic electrical troubleshooting
· Move machinery and equipment as required
Qualifications:
· Valid 433A License Required
· Knowledge of pneumatic/hydraulic equipment, relevant fabrication. Aptitude with machine and hand tools such as grinders, band saws, etc.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must have a 433A certificate or Red Seal Certificate
- Mechanical and electrical proficiency
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office; CMMS experience preferred)
- Data‑driven decision‑making skills
- Basic math + algebra; PLC experience preferred
- Prior supervisory experience is an asset
- Physical requirements include standing, lifting 50 lbs., manual tasks in varying positions

Pay: $43.80-$47.10 per hour
