Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with additional experience in heavy equipment and industrial machinery.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of vehicles and heavy equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and system inspections.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, schematics, and diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately.
- Operate heavy machinery safely during repair or maintenance procedures when necessary.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards during all repair activities.
- Assist in the assembly and disassembly of mechanical components using appropriate tools.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and service performed for each vehicle or piece of equipment.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and provide excellent customer service throughout the process.
Experience
- Automotive service technician experience
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills
- A commitment to quality workmanship
- A positive attitude and team-first mindset
- Ford experience is an asset, but not required
- Journeyman certification
- Willing to consider competent 3rd or 4th year apprentices
Various Shift Options
Monday - Friday, 7 on / 7 off, 14 on / 14 off, days & nights.
Pay: $55.00-$75.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
