Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct entry
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and guest satisfaction
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining proper sanitation and food safety protocols
- Monitor guest needs throughout their visit, providing attentive service to ensure a positive dining experience
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support when necessary to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is highly desirable
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen support is advantageous but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests in a hospitality setting
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
