Liquid Amber Landscape Management Ltd. is a growing commercial landscape maintenance and snow & ice management company serving Airdrie, Calgary, and surrounding communities. We are looking for an experienced Landscape Maintenance & Snow Removal Foreman who takes pride in producing high-quality work, leading by example, and delivering exceptional customer service.
This is a working foreman position. You will spend the majority of your day working alongside your crew while ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
What You'll Do
Summer Responsibilities
- Lead a 2-3 person commercial landscape maintenance crew
- Operate zero-turn mowers, line trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers and other landscape equipment
- Perform mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, weed control, litter collection, and property cleanups
- Complete spring and fall cleanups
- Perform minor irrigation and landscape repairs as required
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance
- Ensure work meets company quality standards
- Complete daily reports using our digital reporting system
Winter Responsibilities
- Lead snow removal operations for commercial and municipal properties
- Operate trucks with snow plows and sanders
- Operate loaders, skid steers and other snow removal equipment (experience is an asset)
- Perform sidewalk snow clearing using snow blowers and power brooms
- Monitor site conditions and apply de-icing materials safely
- Participate in 24/7 on-call snow operations during winter events
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years commercial landscape maintenance experience
- Previous crew leadership or foreman experience preferred
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence (clean driver's abstract required)
- Experience towing trailers
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Available for long hours during snow events, including nights, weekends and holidays
Assets
- Air brake endorsement (Q)
- Class 3 licence
- Loader or skid steer experience
- Herbicide Applicator Licence
- First Aid Certification
- Trailer backing experience
- Experience with commercial snow and ice management

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
