Plumber - Journeyman or Apprentice
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Plumber, either Journeyman or Apprentice, to join our team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in plumbing principles, mechanical knowledge, and construction experience. working on residential housing - new builds and service.-
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with blueprints and schematics
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and repairs
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, equipment, and other construction tools to complete tasks efficiently
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required for installation projects
- Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems and repairs
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met safely and effectively
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and schematics reading
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and B.C. Plumbing Code for measurements and calculations
- Valid drivers license
- Knowledge of safety standards related to plumbing work environments
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Candidates should be committed to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous learning to advance their careers within the plumbing trade.
Pay: $18.80-$50.00 per hour
