Job Description
BRS Concepts Inc. is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established building materials supplier in Carleton Place, ON for an experienced DZ Boom Truck Driver.
This is a customer-facing position where professionalism, communication skills, and a strong safety record are essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering building materials to contractors, construction sites, and residential customers while representing the company in a professional manner.
The ideal candidate will have boom truck experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a DZ boom truck for local deliveries.
- Deliver building materials to construction sites, contractors, and residential customers.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude when interacting with customers.
- Follow company safety policies and transportation regulations.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials when required.
- Support yard operations as needed.
- Operate a forklift in the yard when required (training provided).
Requirements
- Valid Ontario DZ License.
- Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience.
- Previous boom truck experience is required.
- Clean Driver's Abstract and CVOR.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Professional and mature attitude.
- Ability to work independently and safely.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Forklift experience is considered an asset but not required.
- Construction materials delivery experience is considered an asset.
Compensation & Benefits
- $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Full-time permanent opportunity
- Monday to Friday schedule
- 40-45 hours per week
- Stable year-round employment
- Training provided for forklift operations
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
