We are expanding our team and seeking a highly experienced HVAC Project Management Office (PMO) Manager to lead, standardize, and drive excellence across all HVAC projects.
Position Overview
The HVAC PMO Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of all HVAC-related projects. This role requires strong technical HVAC expertise, leadership in project management, and comprehensive knowledge of all related mechanical systems and components.
We are looking for a professional with hands-on experience in HVAC systems, mechanical infrastructure, and full project lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple HVAC projects from pre-construction through close-out
- Develop and oversee PMO processes, reporting systems, and performance standards
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, procurement, and cost control
- Oversee installation, commissioning, and compliance of HVAC systems and all related mechanical components
- Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with mechanical codes, OSHA standards, and safety regulations
- Review mechanical drawings, submittals, RFIs, and project documentation
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Maintain strong communication with clients, stakeholders, and executive leadership
HVAC Systems & Expertise Required
- Commercial HVAC systems
- Air handling units (AHUs)
- VRF/VRV systems
- Ductwork and ventilation systems
- Building automation and controls
- Mechanical piping systems
- Energy-efficient HVAC solutions
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of HVAC project management experience
- Strong background in commercial/industrial HVAC systems
- Proven leadership managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with construction project lifecycle management
- Strong financial management and budgeting skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP Certification
- Mechanical Engineering degree or related field
- Experience in large-scale commercial, healthcare, or multi-site construction projects
