Founded in 1959, Alliance Mercantile Inc., is a large multinational manufacturer of waterproof outerwear, hi visibility safety garments, industrial safety footwear, FR clothing, work gloves, and consumer packaged goods serving the industrial, retail, ad specialty markets, as well as the drug, grocery and mass retailers.

Key Responsibilities
· Receive, review, code, and enter vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
· Review invoice details for accuracy, proper authorization, tax treatment, and compliance with company policies.
· Prepare weekly or scheduled payment runs by credit card, cheque, EFT, wire, or other approved payment methods.
· Reconcile vendor statements, investigate outstanding items, and follow up on missing invoices or payment discrepancies.
· Maintain accurate vendor account records and support timely resolution of vendor inquiries.
· Review and process employee expense reports and corporate credit card transactions in accordance with company policy.
· Review the AP trial balance, investigate reconciling items, and support month-end close activities.
· Assist with review engagement requests by providing related documentation.
· Collaborate with supply chain, warehouse and sales teams to resolve invoice, purchase order, receipt, and payment issues.
· Maintain complete, accurate, and well-organized records, including supporting backups, payment records, invoices, and related documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
· Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and basic accounting principles.
· Proficient in ERP systems, accounts payable platforms, and Microsoft Office.
· Strong analytical, organizational, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
· Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate professionally with vendors and internal departments.
· Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada
Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
