Santander Consumer Bank is seeking a reliable and professional Receptionist/Administration to support our Edmonton Office. This role is essential in ensuring smooth front desk operations and providing excellent customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for filling in during the senior receptionist’s absence due to sick days or vacation.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist clients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors, answering phones, and directing inquiries.
- Provide administrative support to various departments and teams as needed.
- Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and maintaining office supplies.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages as needed, including sorting and delivering or scanning to the appropriate department/person.
- Ensure confidentiality of customer information with discretion and comply with company policies.
- Ensure the reception area and office environment are clean, organized, and professional.
- Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment within the administrative team.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in office administration is a plus.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or similar role is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), technology and familiarity with office equipment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and a customer-centric approach.
Shift Schedule:
Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm.
The receptionist will be pivotal in maintaining a welcoming environment and ensuring all operational needs are met during busy periods.
