We have a full time opening in our Little Learners Daycare division located inside Parkview Alliance church working with children 0 to 5 years.
Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. This role involves developing and implementing engaging curriculum tailored to the developmental needs of children, ensuring their growth in various areas including social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Availability
Hours needed are shifts between 730am to 6pm. We are closed holidays and 2 weeks at Christmas.
Qualifications
- Applicants must love working with children. Team work and valuing an inclusive philosophy when working with children is essential for this position.
- Alberta ECE Level 1 child care certification or higher or currently enrolled in a level one course.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Criminal Record Check including vulnerable sector search
- Child Intervention Check
Preference will be given to applicants with education, certification and experience in this field. First aid will be required or supplied by employer.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.39-$27.62 per hour
