King Animal Hospital is a privately owned, state-of-the-art referral and emergency hospital serving both equine and small animal patients. Our 60,000 sq. ft. facility, situated on 50 acres in King City, Ontario, brings together advanced technology, innovative medicine, and a collaborative team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.
As a Client Service Representative, you'll work alongside experienced veterinarians, Registered Veterinary Technicians, Animal Care Attendants, and board-certified specialists in surgery, critical care, internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, oncology, rehabilitation, ophthalmology, dermatology, anesthesia, and more.
What You'll Do
As a Client Service Representative, you'll be the welcoming face and voice of the hospital while supporting clients, patients, and our medical teams throughout every stage of the patient journey.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and empathy
- Answering phones, emails, and text communications while providing exceptional customer service
- Scheduling appointments and coordinating referral appointments
- Working closely with veterinarians and RVTs to triage calls and communicate important patient information
- Preparing estimates, invoices, and processing payments accurately
- Assisting clients with insurance claims and financing information
- Maintaining accurate patient records and client accounts
- Supporting referral intake processes and other administrative workflows
- Resolving client concerns with compassion, professionalism, and discretion
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming reception environment
- Assisting with inventory, administrative duties, and other tasks as required
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is compassionate, adaptable, and enjoys building positive relationships with clients while remaining calm under pressure.
Qualifications include:
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or similar client service environment is required
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Confidence supporting clients through emotional or stressful situations
- Excellent attention to detail and administrative accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems
- Experience with veterinary software is considered an asset
- Flexibility to work rotating days, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts
