Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Crew Member to join our landscaping and maintenance team. This role involves hands-on work in outdoor environments, supporting various projects related to landscape maintenance, irrigation, gardening, and construction. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, a strong work ethic, and the ability to operate a variety of tools and equipment to ensure the successful completion of projects. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in horticulture, mechanical maintenance, and landscape management within a dynamic team setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and pruning
- Operate equipment such as lawn mowers, power tools, hand tools, and irrigation systems
- Support gardening activities by planting, watering, fertilizing, and mulching
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure proper functioning
- Help with construction-related tasks such as installing features or building structures in outdoor spaces
- Maintain safety standards by following proper procedures during all activities
- Support team members in completing daily project goals efficiently and effectively
Requirements
- Prior experience is a plus
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, gardening techniques, horticulture practices, and landscape maintenance preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to machinery and tool operation is desirable
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Experience with construction or outdoor maintenance projects is beneficial
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to work as part of a team with good communication skills
- Prior experience in landscaping or related fields is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
