Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Tattoo &/or Piercing Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tattooing or piercing, along with classroom experience and teaching skills. This role involves instructing aspiring artists and enthusiasts, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their craft. The instructor will foster a safe, professional, and engaging learning environment, guiding students through technical procedures, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
Duties
- Deliver comprehensive lessons on tattooing and piercing techniques, safety standards, and industry regulations
- Develop and prepare instructional materials tailored to different skill levels
- Supervise practical training sessions, providing hands-on guidance to students
- Assess student progress through evaluations and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain a safe classroom environment by enforcing health and safety policies
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and techniques to ensure current and relevant instruction
- Foster a positive learning atmosphere that encourages creativity, professionalism, and safety awareness
Qualifications
- Proven experience in tattooing or piercing with a strong portfolio of work
- Prior classroom or teaching experience is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to teach complex concepts clearly
- Strong understanding of safety protocols, sanitation standards, and industry regulations
- Passion for mentoring others and sharing industry knowledge
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and adapt teaching methods to diverse learners
- Training will be provided for cirriculum flow
