Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of meat, fish, and seafood dishes, ensuring high quality and consistency.
- Follow recipes and presentation guidelines to deliver outstanding culinary creations.
- Handle, trim, and portion meats, ensuring proper storage and handling techniques.
- Fillet, debone, and prepare various fish and seafood items with precision and attention to detail.
- Grill, sear, bake, broil, and sauté meat, fish, and seafood items to perfection.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of meats, fish, and seafood items, ensuring freshness and minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and refine menu items featuring meats, fish, and seafood.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
- Assist with other kitchen duties as needed, including food prep and stocking supplies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook, preferably with specialization in meat, fish, and seafood preparation.
- In-depth knowledge of different cooking techniques, cuts of meat, fish varieties, and seafood types.
- Ability to handle, portion, and prepare meats, fish, and seafood with precision and expertise.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices, ensuring compliance at all times.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Creativity and an eye for detail to present visually appealing dishes.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and maintain a smooth workflow.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
