Summary
We are currently searching for a versatile, mechanically-minded Maintenance & Frac Assembly Technician to join our team in Clairmont, AB.

Responsibilities
This is a dynamic role blending fleet/shop maintenance with hands-on frac equipment assembly and service. Your duties will include:
Fleet & Equipment Maintenance (No Ticket Required)
· Fleet Maintenance: Perform basic preventative maintenance and repairs on our light and heavy-duty fleet trucks, trailers, and auxiliary field equipment (including oil changes, greasing, hydraulic servicing, electrical troubleshooting, and 250/500-hour services).
· Specialized Equipment Support: Assist in troubleshooting, servicing, and maintaining Hydraulic Accumulators, manlifts, Compressors, and other auxiliary shop machinery.
· Hydraulics & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hydraulic and mechanical issues with all company equipment in the shop and occasionally in the field.
Frac Assembly & Service
· Equipment Assembly & Repair: Assist with the assembly, service, repair, and maintenance of specialized frac assisting equipment.
· Specialized Systems: Disassemble, inspect, assemble, and pressure test a variety of pressure-containing equipment, including accumulator systems, collet/Dart launching systems, and ball launching systems.
· Department Upkeep: Maintain and repair department equipment, including light trucks, lawn mowers and equipment, service trucks and light duty pickers
· Quality & Teamwork: Actively support internal quality procedures, safety programs, and paperwork completion while helping to build a strong, collaborative production and assembly team.
Shop & Branch Operations
· Maintain all company property, service tools, and shop equipment in a clean, organized, and safe 'ready to use' state.
· Assist with shop duties, shipping/receiving, warehousing, and managing customer property inventory.
· Work closely with operations staff to quickly resolve equipment issues and support team priorities.
Job Requirements
· Experience: Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience maintaining mechanical equipment, vehicles, or heavy machinery.
· Assets: Previous experience with Wellhead/Frac equipment, hydraulic systems, welding, or Automotive/Heavy equipment assembly is highly preferred.
· Equipment Operation: Experience operating a forklift, overhead crane, or Aerial Work Platforms is considered a strong asset.
· Work Style: Ability to work safely and effectively both independently (unsupervised) and within a team environment.
· Physical Demands: Must be able to handle the physical requirements of the job, including regularly lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, twisting, kneeling, and working in severe weather conditions when required.
· Logistics: Must have your own reliable transportation to and from work, a clean 5-year driving abstract, and the ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening. Having your own tools is required.
Compensation based on experience
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Shift options and overtime available)
Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour
