Job Description
As a Packaging Technician, you will support the day-to-day activities of our wholesale ingredients division. This is a hands-on role with a primary focus on ingredient preparation and packaging, while also supporting warehouse operations and other areas of the business as needed.
Our company supplies to breweries, distilleries, wineries, and beverage producers. This role involves working in an environment connected to the alcohol industry and may occasionally require handling beverage alcohol products. Applicants should be comfortable working with and around beverage alcohol products.
Duties may include weighing and mixing ingredients, bagging and packaging products, liquid packaging, stickering and labeling, operating packaging and production equipment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, picking and preparing orders, moving inventory, assisting with shipping and receiving, and other operational tasks as required.
The successful candidate must be comfortable working in multiple areas of the facility and adapting to changing priorities. Attention to detail, organization, cleanliness, and the ability to accurately complete paperwork and follow written procedures are essential skills for this role. Personal protective equipment is provided for all required tasks.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 lb repeatedly
- Must hold a valid driver's licence and maintain an acceptable driving record
- Must be able to work around dust and fine powders on a regular basis. You will be handling products that may irritate allergies or asthma; PPE is provided.
- Must be able to fluently communicate and follow written and spoken instructions in English
- Forklift experience is an asset, but not required

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
