Summary
Our longtime CDA is leaving to return to hygiene school so we are seeking a Certified Dental Assistant to join our team at Westshore Dental Centre in Langford. This role is vital in providing high-quality dental services and supporting our mission to maintain healthy, confident smiles.
Responsibilities
- Assist in delivering comprehensive dental treatments in accordance with best practices.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Power Practice software.
- Ensure a welcoming and professional environment for all patients.
- Collaborate with the dental team to improve patient outcomes.
- Uphold all safety and sterilization protocols.
- Stay updated on the latest dental techniques and industry standards
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant qualification, 1+ year preferred but new grads are welcome to apply
- Proficiency in Power Practice or equivalent software.
- Experience with dental assisting.
- Strong knowledge of dental/medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of CAD is a plus but not required.
