Content Deliveries Coordinator
The Content Deliveries Coordinator oversees content deliveries for global distribution, coordinating assets, technical requirements, and client requests while ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment across teams.
This new role will report to the Senior Director, International Distribution and Business Operations and is a hybrid position requiring in-office attendance at our head office in Toronto for a minimum of three (3) days per week.
The anticipated salary range for this role is $50,000 - $60,000 per year, with final compensation determined by experience and qualifications.
Core Responsibilities and Duties
Sales and Contracts
- Support the Sales team by providing technical guidance on content availability, delivery capabilities, language assets, metadata, and client delivery requirements.
- Review sales offers and executed agreements to validate technical feasibility and confirm asset availability.
- Identify technical risks or gaps early in the sales process and coordinate with internal teams to resolve them.
Asset Distribution
- Serve as the primary liaison between Sales, Media Services (Lab), and Global Product Deliveries following execution of sales agreements.
- Translate client delivery specifications into clear operational requirements for internal delivery teams.
- Ensure all required media assets are available prior to handoff to Global Product Deliveries.
- Coordinate the delivery lifecycle by tracking milestones, resolving issues, and facilitating communication between departments.
- Act as the main contact for Sales on material requests and supporting materials for clients during early stages of deal.
- Monitor delivery progress and provide timely status updates to Sales and other stakeholders.
New Client Onboarding
- Coordinate technical onboarding activities for new distribution partners with Global Product Deliveries.
- Facilitate test deliveries and technical validation during onboarding and early stages of new client engagements providing visibility to GPD dept.
- Coordinate communication between client technical contacts and internal operational teams prior execution and fulfill the handoff upon deal execution.
Tracking
- Maintain delivery tracking and documentation throughout the project lifecycle (Exel, Airtable etc).
- Coordinate with clients, Sales team and internal teams to ensure timely fulfillment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience working with Media Asset Management (MAM) systems.
- Strong understanding of professional video and audio formats, codecs, containers, frame rates, aspect ratios, and audio configurations.
- Ability to interpret client technical delivery specifications and QC reports.
- Familiarity with ProRes, MXF, MOV, MP4, XML metadata, caption and subtitle formats (SRT, STL, IMSC1, TTML) is an asset.
- Experience with digital delivery platforms such as Aspera, Signiant, Media Shuttle, or similar.
- Comfortable learning new software platforms and technical workflows.
- Familiarity with Airtable is an asset
Desired Experience
- Experience in media operations, content servicing, broadcast operations, digital distribution, post-production, or OTT content delivery.
- Experience coordinating deliveries for streaming platforms or broadcasters is highly desirable.
- Ability to analyze technical issues and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
