About Us
Warm, Montessori-influenced family in Oakville seeking a gentle, creative nanny for our homeschooled 5-year-old. This is a nanny role with a teaching heart — warm daily care plus hands-on, play-based learning.
Mom is at home and guides the overall curriculum, so you’ll never plan in isolation — collaborative direction with room for your creativity.
The Role
Confidently support Grade 1–3 enrichment through play, storytelling, and hands-on activities, alongside the everyday care of a nanny (snacks, tidying together, outdoor time, soft-play outings).
You’ll prepare weekly activities with mom’s guidance: creative lessons, experiments, reading and writing invitations, arts and crafts, math games, and theme-based explorations (space, animals, Africa, oceans, dinosaurs, weather, and more).
You Are
- Warm, patient, and emotionally attuned
- Montessori-inclined or open to it
- Experienced with ages 4–6
- Creative and resourceful with lessons, crafts, and experiments
- Confident planning weekly activities
- Happy to sing, play, explore, and teach hands-on
- Comfortable with gentle caregiving routines, empathy aligned.
- Open to collaborating closely with mom
