Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications while ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to sanitation and food safety guidelines.
- Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for processing customer orders efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while providing friendly and attentive customer service.
- Assist in upselling menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with restocking as needed.
- Follow all food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing are essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is required.
