A Surrey-based small accounting firm is looking for a full-time, hardworking, and sincere Bookkeeper / Intermediate Accountant to join our team.
The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, QuickBooks, Sage, CaseWare, and other accounting software. Experience in bookkeeping and accounting for small businesses will be considered an asset. Previous experience working in an accounting firm will be preferred.
Job duties include full-cycle bookkeeping for various clients, bank and credit card reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable, payroll processing, GST/PST return preparation and filing, preparation of basic financial reports, year-end working papers, client communication and follow-up, organizing accounting records, data entry, and assisting with other accounting and administrative duties as required.
The candidate should be detail-oriented, reliable, organized, and comfortable dealing with clients in a professional manner. Knowledge of Punjabi and Hindi will be preferred.
