Job Overview:
We’re a growing remote bookkeeping business seeking a bookkeeper with at least 5 years of bookkeeping experience. If you know your way around QuickBooks Online and are looking for a flexible remote position, we would love to hear from you. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment with minimal oversight.
Responsibilities:
- Record and reconcile financial transactions in QuickBooks Online.
- Using Excel for bookkeeping tasks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Prepare reports as needed.
- Communicate in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with bookkeeping best practices and standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Must reside in Canada, be legally eligible to work in Canada, and be bondable (preference will be given to candidates located in Alberta or Ontario).
- Experience with QuickBooks Online is required.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel is required.
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel tools such as VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Clear and professional communication skills.
- Knowledge of reconciliations and ability to manage multiple client files.
Hours:
Hours will start at 20 per week, with the opportunity for full-time employment in the future.
Compensation:
Pay will range from $25 to $35 per hour based on skill and experience level.
