Overview
We are seeking a skilled Plasma Table Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining plasma cutting equipment, ensuring precise fabrication of metal components. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings. The Plasma Table Operator plays a vital part in delivering high-quality products efficiently and safely within our manufacturing environment.
Duties
- Set up and operate plasma cutting tables with precision according to blueprints and specifications
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and machining instructions
- Perform basic math calculations for measurements, tolerances, and material dimensions
- Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to ensure quality standards are met
- Conduct quality inspections on finished parts to verify accuracy and adherence to specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Assist with machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs to ensure optimal operation
- Operate auxiliary equipment such as cranes and forklifts when necessary for material handling
- Follow safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)Skills
- Proficiency in plasma cutting operations with experience in CNC programming and setup
- Knowledge of CNC laser cutting, CNC milling machines, CNC lathe, and press brake machines
- Mechanical knowledge related to machining processes and equipment maintenance
- Ability to read complex blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Skilled in using hand tools, calipers, and other measurement tools for quality inspection
- Experience with welding, assembly, and general manufacturing processes is a plus
- Familiarity with crane operation and forklift handling for material movement is desirable
- Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during setup and inspection
- Attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $21.00-$27.00 per hour
